Can We Tell Someone to Do Something He Wasn’t Able to Do Before Prayer?
Jesus told the paralytic who was let down through the roof to arise, take up his couch and walk (Luke 5:17-26). Paralytics can’t take up couches and walk without a miracle. Jesus commanded a person to “do something he couldn’t do.”
In Acts 3:1-16, Peter told a man who had been crippled from his mother’s womb to rise up and walk. People crippled from their mother’s wombs cannot rise up and walk without a miracle. Peter commanded a person to “do something he couldn’t do.”
In Acts 14:7-10, Paul commanded a man who had defective feet and had never walked to stand up on his feet. A person whose feet don’t work cannot stand on them without a miracle. Paul commanded a person to “do something he couldn’t do.”
If they did it in Scripture, the Lord may lead you to do it as well.
