Genesis 30:22-23:
And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.
And she conceived, and bare a son; and said, God hath taken away my reproach:
Notes on Genesis 30:22-23:
The context is that Rachel was unable to have children. This is another example of an infertile woman who prayed and got healed of whatever the problem was. Note that inability to bear children was considered a reproach. Because Paul said that those who trust in Jesus, the firm foundation, shall never be ashamed, nothing that is a reproach should continue in their lives. You have the right to bear children if you want to (and you’re a biological woman).
