Healed by Grace Through Faith
Here is a very simple thought you might never have considered.
Ephesians 2:8:
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
The Greek word for saved in the verse above is sozo, which has the connotation not only of basic salvation, but also of healing and preservation. (See the article Saved! for proof.)
So healing works the same way as getting saved from the lake of fire. By grace you are healed through faith.
When you see that, it will clear up a lot of nonsense. You won’t have all-night prayer meetings trying to convince God to heal someone any more than you would have an all-night prayer meeting to convince God to provide a way out of hell for someone. You will realize that healing is there for the taking just like the new birth. That one revelation alone could result in you receiving your healing!
As is the case with the new birth, the faith that you are healed by is not of yourself; it is the gift of God. God has already blessed you with all the faith you need to receive healing for your condition. All you have to do is reach out and take what God’s grace has already provided – by faith!
