Is It Harder to Receive Healing If You Owe People Money?
That depends on whether you commit the sin of worrying about money. Worry will tend to make you sicker, not healthier. If you have cast your cares upon the Lord (1 Peter 5:7), receiving healing has nothing to do with whether you owe money. Jesus never made it a requirement that anyone pay the people he owed before He would grant healing. Under the New Covenant, healing is already granted and is yours for the taking regardless of your financial status. Thinking that bill paying will “earn” your healing gets into a works-based mentality that Paul warned the Galatians about.
The only other issue would be if you are deliberately withholding money that is due when you are able to pay it, which contradicts Scripture.
Proverbs 3:27:
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.
Willfully indulging in known sin is disobedience that WILL cause issues when you try to receive healing.
