Condition: Arthritis

Although not mentioned by name, this would seem to be a similar case to the “bowed over” woman that Jesus healed in Luke 13:11-16.  However, this solitary mention would not be proof that arthritis and similar ailments are always caused by a spirit of infirmity, as in this woman’s case.

What is certain is that we are all redeemed from arthritis.  Arthritis is a condition that causes inflammation of the joints.  This is explicitly part of the curse for breaking the Law:

Deuteronomy 28:22:
The LORD shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish.

While Strong’s Concordance defines this as a burning fever and points out that it is derived from a word that can be translated “burning” (among other things), the verse also mentions fever and extreme burning separately.  If we don’t take this to be an ironclad proof-text about arthritis, Deuteronomy 28:61 will suffice.

Christ has redeemed you from the curse contained in the Law (Galatians 3:13), of which the verse above is part.  Therefore, Christ has explicitly redeemed you from arthritis.  You have the right to receive healing from it right now.
